Independent Living Counselors from Ability Resources can conduct a BenefitsCheckup® screening that will provide information on public assistance programs and other services for which you might be eligible. BenefitsCheckup® (https://www.benefitscheckup.org) is a free online national screening tool offered as a service of the National Council on Aging Initial screening takes 20 to 25 minutes. Upon completion, Independent Living Counselors will provide information on how to apply for any programs identified by the screening and what information will be needed to complete any specific application process.
